School co-operation creates strong connections between Tampere and Mwanza

Teachers from Tampere and Mwanza gathered up in Huusholli
Two teachers and two Academic Officers from Mwanza spent a month in Tampere learning about the Finnish education system and guidance councelling as well as bringing some Tanzanian colour to the Tampere schools. Their programme consisted of different school visits as well as visits to the University and the Administration of Education in Tampere.

In exchange, three teachers and one school social worker are travelling to Mwanza for one month to continue the school co-operation in two old project schools and start it in three new project schools. Together with them, two Educational Directors will also travel to Mwanza for one week to assess the results of the school co-operation as well as to plan new ventures in the component.

You can follow the adventure of the Tampere Team in Mwanza in this blog. Welcome! Karibu!
